Interview locations
We have regional assessment centres in cities all over the UK. We have dates available for you to attend throughout the year in different locations. If you are unable to make any of these locations on the specified dates, don't worry. We can conduct individual or small group interviews in our Kingston office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays each week so please liaise with our Recruitment Team to organise an interview date and time to suit you.
Our general recruitment days are for the roles of Chalet Host, Chalet Chefs, Head/Sous Chefs, Reps, Drivers, Chalet Supervisor, Kitchen Porter/Night Porter, Hotel Hosts and Childcare only.
You will need to bring the following with you on the day:
- Application Form (COMPLETED)
- Menu Planner (Chalet Roles Only)
- Pre-Prepared Presentation (Required for all roles, see below)
- Current full EU Passport and a photocopy
- Proof of National Insurance Number i.e. NI card/P60/P45
- A utility / mobile phone bill and a photocopy (proof of address)
- A calculator
Presentations
Holiday Rep
Pick any household item and sell it to us in 1 minute.
Driver
Give a one minute presentation on the factors to be considered when driving in snow.
Chalet Host
Deliver a 1 minute presentation on your cake/canapé including details on how and why you made it.
Chalet Supervisor
2 minute presentation on one incentive you would introduce to ensure staff motivation throughout the season.
Staff Trainer
2 minute presentation on an Initiative you would introduce to ensure a chalet stays under budget without compromising customer service.
Hotel Host / Kitchen Porter / Night Porter
Pick any item found in a hotel and sell it to us in 1 minute.
All Childcare Roles
Prepare and present a child's mobile ensuring their development is being considered and also adding in a character about you. You must only use 2 colours and you have 1 minute to present this to us at the assessment centre.
Things to know...
You need to arrive promptly at 9.30am for a 10am start, and need to be prepared to stay with us for the whole day. After submitting your application and all documentation on arrival, you will be required to successfully pass various exercises and assessments to progress onto the next stage of our recruitment process.
All roles are expected to deliver a one-minute presentation to the other applicants to assess your ability to communicate and present. Presentations are individual to the role you are applying for. Note that we expect all applicants to dress appropriately for an interview, i.e. No trainers or jeans. Any applicants not dressed accordingly may be turned away.

Things to know - Chefs and Chalet Hosts
If you are interested in becoming a Chalet Host please bring with you either a home made afternoon tea for four people (small cake or 4 biscuits or 4 scones) or a selection of canapés for 5 people that you have both prepared & baked yourself. Please avoid using nuts or nut traces in your dish.
