Transfer Day
Meet and greet ALL arrivals.
Show people to rooms according to bookings and generally provide a welcoming atmosphere.
Make afternoon tea and dinner available to all arrivals, irrelevant of time.
Provide basic breakfast for snow train arrivals avoiding disruption to departing guests, (country specific).

Departure Day
See off ALL departures.
Provide breakfast for all departures.
Deep clean all rooms and public areas, including external areas.
Change linen. Make sure all rooms ready by 4pm.
Welcome speech (housekeeping + H&S/meal times/dietary requirements etc.).
Can be a 24hr day - absolutely no skiing or boarding.

Daily
Beginning of season will be hard, long hours but once in a routine it will be easier!!
7.30 Arrive in chalet.
8-9 serve breakfast including 2 hot cooked items, porridge, eggs, cereals, bread + jams. After 9am leave a continental breakfast out for guests to help themselves.
Make afternoon tea (and packed lunches if prebooked/arranged).
Clean rooms and public areas (Hoover/dust/make beds/empty bins).
Clear away breakfast + lay out/cover afternoon tea.
Approx 10.15/30 finish.
If you have no other duties then go Skiing / Boarding!
17.00/30 return to chalet.
Clear away afternoon tea.
Kids Teas.
Prepare dinner and serve @19.30. Serve fresh coffee when dinner finished.
Socialise with guests - sit down for at least one course with guests.
Approx 21.00/30 finish.

Shopping/Delivery Day
You may have to go out of your resort depending on the country and can take a whole day but once familiarised with products, menu, and the shops this will become much quicker.

Day Off
Country dependant, you may leave continental breakfast and afternoon tea out for guests. In larger chalets you will be required to work one in four to set up and serve breakfast.
The day after your day off you will probably need to go in a bit earlier to clear up.

Paperwork
Accounts, weekly reports, orders etc.

Skiing/Nightlife/Social Life
How much ski time - 5 days per wee.
Work Hard - ski hard - play hard. Work hard non-negotiable get the balance of the other 2 right!
