The role in brief…
The Reps service makes you central to delivering our customers’ outstanding holiday experience. From their arrival at the airport your role is to ensure our Crystal, Thomson and First Choice customers get the maximum from their holiday by providing them with high quality information, products and services. You’ll also be problem solving so that their holiday goes without a hitch.
We offer a wide and varied range of resorts across Europe and North America to suit all of our customer’s needs so we can provide you with a variety of types of Resort Rep experience with very different challenges and rewards. Whether you want to take on more responsibility working in a sole rep resort or be part of a larger team we’ll have the perfect resort to suit you. Over 95% of our winter positions are in Europe with a small staff in North America.
What you will be doing…
Service Delivery
- Following the Operations Manual to ensure the Reps Team delivers the service our customers expect, act in accordance with company policies and to ensure brochure promises are fulfilled
- Airport duties including arrival and departure transfers
- Ski pack (lift pass, equipment hire, tuition), après ski or summer excursion sales
- Welcome presentations introducing yourself and the resort and ski or local area
- Daily accommodation visits and/or service centre attendance
- Ski or summer walking escort service
- Running an excellent and profitable après ski or summer excursion programme
- Building rapport by getting to know your customers and suppliers
- Thinking on your feet and working proactively to solve problems
- Accurate, timely completion of resort paperwork, admin and accounts
- Handling, safe keeping, banking and recording of company money sales and expenditure following company procedures at all times
- Achieving resort sales targets through selling ski pack, après ski or summer excursions
products and services
- Minimising operational costs whilst delivering excellent customer service levels
- Leading your team to minimise all chalet expenditure and operational costs whilst maintaining excellent service and satisfaction levels
- Leading your team to achieve resort sales targets through selling chalet extras and where appropriate ski pack, après ski and summer excursion products and services
- Escalating any issues to the Resort Manager-Chalets which cannot be resolved which will have high customer or financial impact
- Handling, safe keeping, banking and recording of company money, sales and expenditure and ensuring the team is following company procedures at all times
- Internal: Reps Supervisor, Resort Manager, Chalet and Childcare Teams, Area Manager and Office Staff
- External: Customers and Suppliers (Accommodation, Après, Transport, Ski pack, Excursion etc)
