The role in brief…

Budget Management
As part of the Chalet Team you will be running a chalet to provide our customers with a high quality menu (breakfast, afternoon tea and evening dinner) in a clean, hygienic and comfortable ‘home from home’ environment in which they feel relaxed and have an outstanding holiday.

The chalets we operate vary in size; whilst our many smaller chalets are single person chalets, our larger chalets require working in a team of two or even up to five. Whichever the size of chalet you work in, you’ll need to be sociable and confident; we’re keen for you to get to know your customers.

What you will be doing…

Providing an excellent chalet service to include:

Service Delivery

  • Daily housekeeping and a weekly deep clean to exceptionally high standards
  • Cooking and serving a high quality weekly menu prepared in line with the Company Food Safety Policy
  • Following the Chalet Manual to ensure you deliver the service our customers expect and to ensure brochure promises are fulfilled
  • Offering a professional chalet service in a comfortable, homely and friendly environment
  • Building rapport through conversations with your customers
  • A brief Welcome presentation, introducing yourself and information about your chalet
  • Thinking on your feet and working with the resort team to solve problems
  • Accurate, timely completion of chalet paperwork and admin
Commercial
  • Achieving resort sales targets through selling chalet extras and where appropriate ski pack, après and summer excursion products and services
  • Working to a weekly budget and minimising costs whilst providing an interesting, appropriate menu and high quality food service

Working with…

  • Internal: Chalet Team, Resort Manager, Reps and Childcare Teams, Area Manager and Office Staff
  • External: Customers and Suppliers (Food, Beverage, Linen, Chalet owners etc)
